Our website

Apart from the AI Brief signup form, our website sets no cookies, and we don’t use advertising or session-recording tools. Sending an enquiry doesn’t set any cookies.

Visit counts

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, a service from our host, to see which pages people read and how they find us. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Each page sends Vercel its address and the website that sent you, along with the technical details every browser sends, such as its IP address, from which Vercel works out your country and type of device. We only see totals that don’t identify anyone.

To stop us counting your visits in this browser, use the button below. We then keep your choice on your device as em_no_visit_count until you change it here or clear your browser’s data. We also don’t count visits from browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal.

Motion setting

If you choose Turn motion off at the foot of any page, we keep that choice on your device as em_motion_off, so the site stays still on every page and on later visits. It isn’t sent to us. Choose Turn motion on, or clear your browser’s data, to remove it.

The AI Brief signup form

The AI Brief page includes a signup form from Beehiiv, which runs our mailing list. When the page loads, the form and the security services it uses set the following.

bhv_attribution

Set by Beehiiv on this website, only when you arrive from another website or a tagged link. Records where you came from, such as LinkedIn, and the page you landed on, so we can see which channels bring subscribers. Lasts 30 days.

bhv_b2ff74c8-3a75-462d-8ffe-a0c47ba61627_subscribed

Set by Beehiiv on this website after you sign up, so the form doesn’t ask you again. Lasts one year.

_pxvid, _px3, pxcts and related browser storage

Set by HUMAN, Beehiiv’s bot-protection service, to stop automated and fraudulent sign-ups. _px3 lasts six minutes, pxcts until you close your browser and _pxvid one year.

cf_clearance, __cf_bm

Set by Cloudflare for Beehiiv, to tell people apart from bots. __cf_bm lasts 30 minutes and cf_clearance one year.

The form also loads Google Tag Manager and Google Fonts. When we checked on 22 October 2026, neither set cookies and we saw no Google Analytics activity.

Our privacy notice explains how we handle AI Brief.
